Never Good Enough

You do what they ask and return to them expecting gratitude and praise.  Instead you are sent back to do it again, to do it better.  Once that is perfected there is only something else to be done and redone until utter perfection.  It is only after so many of these that you realize it will never end.  There will always be something else, something more.  In their eyes there will always be something better.  What you give them will never be good enough.
